Luca graduated in Structural Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 2008, and obtained his Ph.D. in 2012. His specialization lies in modelling and nonlinear dynamics of complex systems. During his research journey from 2014 to 2021 at Cranfield University (UK), he directed his focus toward Applied Artificial Intelligence. Specifically, he employed AI algorithms and machine learning techniques for time series diagnostics in structural, mechanical, and aeronautical domains, as well as for computer vision across various fields.

Since 2021, Luca has been a part of PQE (Pharma Quality Europe), where he established and is leading the Competence Centre in Advanced Technologies. His primary responsibilities involve validating Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI systems. Leveraging his expertise, he supports strategic clients in AI and Machine Learning GxP-related initiatives. Luca continues to serve as a Visiting Academic at Cranfield University.

Amy is a highly experienced validation engineer whose career has been marked by a demonstrated history of excellence in the dynamic and challenging biotechnology industry. Her expertise is not confined to just one aspect of her field; she is a recognized authority in laboratory operations, bioprocess manufacturing, and the comprehensive commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) of equipment, facilities, and utilities. Amy's profound understanding of the technical and regulatory nuances of biotechnology makes her an invaluable asset in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
